MBIT in association with NGMA brings to you "Champ of the Champs" competition.
Mbit is the world’s first mobile P2P Application, used
for file sharing, publishing, data sharing, subscribing to channels,
and making groups. It envisages to provide P2P/Fileshare based content distribution in a social networking environment to share rich media content such as user generated content (UGC) and advertising content over any mobile network, enable users to create, share, search, subscribe, download and broadcast content with personalized advertisements that are available, embedded in the content. "Champ of the Champs" is an online competition organized by MBIT and NGMA. This competition will be organized every month. And, every month, MBIT will select top 3 teams. These teams will be participating in Grand Finale of "Champ of the Champs".

Bug Finding & Suggesting Enhancements
- Event starts from April 3rd, 2010. The last date of submission of entries is May 5th, 2010.
- The participants will have to download the mbit application from http://mbit.co.in, use the application and test it for finding bugs. A bug is an error, flaw, mistake, failure, or fault in a computer program or system that produces an incorrect or unexpected result, or causes it to behave in an unintended way.
- The participants can also carry out the testing of MBIT website (www.mbit.co.in, www.mbit.tv) and can report the bugs existing in the website
- Bugs can be found out in operational features of the application, look and feel, data download/upload and regular operation of the application.
- The participants wil have to make a business plan for the mbit application, suggesting what enhancements can be made in order to make mbit more user friendly. The competition shall also include suggesting business cases for increasing users, retaining users, and increasing data traffic for the application amongst users.
- mbit application for Symbian runs on Nokia S60 handsets like N series, E series and other commonly used phones.
- mbit for J2ME runs on all JAVA enabled handsets like Sony Ericsson, etc.

Educational Workshop
NGMA is proposing to organize a workshop on "IT Security and Ethical Hacking" in order to train students about the Champ of champs and also to impart knowledge in the field of IT Security, Security testing and Ethical Hacking.
In the present times, where network security assumes utmost importance for businesses around the globe, teaching "Security testing and hacking" as a legitimate means of training students in how to protect a future employer's data assets has been introduced into courses with increasing frequency NGMA comes up with a short term professional workshops designed for young engineering minds on IT security and Ethical hacking. The student or College participating in the workshop will get the hands on exposure of how to test an application using various testing techniques including ethical hacking.

The winning team would be decided by the judges from mbit (A Joint-Venture between mbit Pte Ltd - Singapore & VASSoft.net - India)
